My girlfriend is obsessed with Fall Out Boy? My girlfriend is absolutely obsessed with Fall Out Boy. She has a FOB pillow, 2 posters, "The Story of FOB" book, a book that one of the band members wrote and a book that one of the band members mentioned. She talks about them all the time without realizing it. She also has a billion pictures of them. Her cellphone wallpaper is of FOB. (I was kind of expecting a pic of me.) Her computer desktop even. Got a trojan, fixed it, then windows error, and now this! Help!?!? This all began on Sunday evening when I first got a Trojan. It was the worst I had ever experienced as it took total control of the computer and launched this bogus "System Security 2009" program, and even changed my desktop wallpaper to this b.s. "warning" message. I did successfully get rid of this however via Safe Mode w/ Networking and using Malware remover. ....Right when I thought my problems were over I then began getting this "Windows File Protection" message over and over telling me to enter my Windows XP Home CD to restore original versions of certain files. I did this, but I only had XP Pro. So I did the Boot from CD/ Repair. It seemed to have fix everything 100% by time I logged back in. (Meaning there was no more error message or visible Trojans) The NEW problem... Now, the computer has 2 main issues. 1) When you open Firefox for instance and try to scroll down, it lags. Meaning, there it does not scroll through it, it is like in frames. Kinda like choppy video from a security camera or something. 2) When I close a window, I have to click the red X at least twice because it doesn't even recognize it at first. So all in all, I have MORE problems now, and am totally stumped what has now happen to this machine. I will be no longer using this machine in Fall 2009 when I am forced to switch to laptop 100%, but I do need it for a bit longer and it really burns me up. Thank you much! Ahh! That makes sense. It's actually custom built, so I probably need to find like the driver? Oh boy..

HELP! I have no start button nor desktop icons!? I wanted to changed the Start text on the start button to my name. So i was reading a blog about it and it had a step by step guide, i did everything, log back off and back on, boom! nothing....No start button, no desktop icon, no objectdock, no nothing, just my wallpaper, the only way i can get into internet is through task manager. I cant right click or anything. Man im screwed like a penis falling off. Can somebody help me? How do you get over an obsession ? (HUGE Heath Ledger Fan) ..? I've watched The Dark Knight about 3 months ago, and simply fell in love with the character of the Joker. Microsoft Privacy Center Taking over my Computer after boot up! Please Help? Hello everyone. For all you computer nerds out there. When I boot up my computer, it does it fine, until I log in and then this Mircosoft Privacy Center comes up and everything on my desktop disappears, Even the start menu along with the tool bar at the bottom. What the hell is going on? My computer gives me a message saying to go into the uninstall programs list and take it off my hdd. But I cant get to it because there is no start menu. I tried everything, the hot keys for "Open My Computer" or anything does not respond! No hotkeys work!!! I dont think it is a virus becuase I have Mcafee and it does not tell me I have one, but then, maybe its not running. Nothing comes up on my desktop, only the wallpaper I have set on it. are these some good pranks? get a bowl of water and take a stick and hold it up to the celling wit the stick and let her hold it and then stand back 10 feet....and when her arm lets go the water will fall....tell her its a magic trick so she will hold it.....never fails.... take a phone and hide the phone in the cellin of on the fan where its not visible and then call it in the moring and she will try to turn it off and not be able to find it get a computer and it might take 5 mintues to do frist go to the shutdown icon and press it so u see the shutdown window up....then press PrtSc SysReq button at the top of the keyboard and then go to ms paint. then press Crtl+V and press save as wallpaper....then close out paint and right click on the propeties and then desktop and go to browse and find the wallpaper you just made and then set it as the desktop and press aply...then when ur sister goes to use the computer she will not be able to press canel on the shutdown window cause it is the desktop....lo this might be a little messes but its harlouis.....frist get a 2 liter of coke and unsrew the top and get a mentos and tread a neddle though it wit some yarn and then put the mentos in the coke wit out lettin it go and then screw the top back on and then we she goes to open it the mentos will reliese

"AntivirusXP Pro" -- Trojan Virus, I want to get rid of it.? Thanks for your help in advance. I have a virus on my computer, and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I cannot connect to the internet, and there are three different pop-ups that occur, all having to do with "AntivirusXP Pro". In addition, the wallpaper is black, with the following message. The messages remain there but the desktop background changes to a black color with the following message"WARNING Dangerous Spyware. Many viruses were found on your computer such as : Trojan horse, PassCapture, etc. Your personal information an fall into in the "third hands". Please check up the computer with a special software. Thank" I went into safe mode, but was unable to run a scan. I have the free trial of Microsoft Live OneCare, but that is not running, and I cannot connect to the website (i'm on a different computer). Finally, there is a fake icon on the bottom right hand corner, next to the clock saying the following... " Warning! Security report. Your computer is infected! It is recommended to start spyware cleaner tool." The message is clearly fake. Any Suggestions? I CANNOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET ON MY LAPTOP!! Chapter 1 Beautiful stars covered the night sky, looking like a giant had spilled glowing, white marbles across a huge black blanket. My favorite view in the world was standing beneath the cosmos, staring into the stars. It helped me concentrate, centering my energy inwardly. After I’d become completely calm, I pushed my mind out into the environment, sending my sense on a search. My entire body became a machine, a machine that was looking for something to eat. Hidden in the forest were many things that could provide me with nourishment. A owl feasting on a rat. A family of brown rabbits. A doe holding her fawn to her breast as they slept, almost as if she knew a predator was hunting tonight. There. On the opposite side of the forest, a car, a black Honda, was following the one two-lane street. Inside was a man and a woman, both filled with vibrant, warm, life-giving fluid. There were a mile away from passing the first tree of the woods, two miles from where I stood. I can make it, I thought. Without conscious thought, my body crouched into position, ready to spring. My vision became even sharper, becoming the eyes of a hunter. The thirst in my throat swiftly grew, becoming the only thought in my mind. I stopped draining the man and hurled myself over to her. Once again my teeth pierced skin. When she felt the pain, the woman began screaming louder, short piercing bursts of sound. My eyes fluttered open, the alarm clock next to my bed forcing me out of my dreaming state. I slammed my hand down on the beeping device. What a weird dream, I thought, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. Stretching, I slid out of bed, walking past the window. I threw the curtains open, and then slightly regretted it. The light burned my eyes, making me rub them more furiously. I looked down at the computer desk that sat down right in front of the window. I clicked the mouse a couple times, waking the monitor. When the screen flashed on, showing the Boys Like Girls wallpaper, I clicked open the one icon on the desktop, an instant link to a document: my journal. I quickly scanned over the previous entries, reminding myself of the craziness my life had become. Saturday, October 14 I can’t remember yesterday. I keep trying to, but I keep ending up with the same result: nothing. I just want to know what happened. I had a dream last night. Scared the hell out of me. It started out normal, I was at school, talking to Olivia and Drake, but then it changed. Suddenly I was on top of Olivia, my mouth on her neck.
