How do i put autumn colors as my background for my home page ?

Curious on what others have in mind,for a photo-shoot on an autumn wear collection for men&women aged 21-35? To pitch an idea for a company, Marks and Spencer autumn wear theme. Easy said but Not to be cliché or boring! Typical background of an autumn outdoor location is obvious, so how can i make the story more interesting? Not to worry wont be taking it seriously or Practical, just a verbal interivew with tutor to lay out a plan/idea? HELP

Is there a way in photoshop to select one color and delete it? I have a complex photo of a tree in autumn with no leaves left on it. The background is white and I want to use the leafless tree on a green background. It will take me hours to magic select the white and delete it so I bet there is a work around to select multiple items of the same color and deleting it. Eliminating "Halo Effect"? In some photos I take where one vivid color is supposed to blend smoothly into another, for example, autumn leaves in the background, I see harsh lines instead of smooth blending between the colors. I think it's called Haloing or Halo Effect. I use a HP Pavilion dv5t laptop, but when I looked at the same photo on an iMac, the halo crap wasn't there and the photo looked great. Is it because my computer has less processing power, or because the Mac display is just better? I really can't post a picture to show you guys because the whole point is that it looks different on every monitor.

10 pts....Creating a mysterious aura about someone? I am having some trouble making this character mysterious for my manuscript. For this chapter (short flashback chapter), she finishes a painting for hers, two trees on a blue background, one tree has fallen autumn leaves, the other is the same tree, but in summer. It's suppose to represent how she feels. After she finishes the painting, she wanders around town, does some shopping, and returns home. She's happy, she finished her painting, and bought something for herself. So she makes dinner, pours herself a glass of wine, sits down, and starts crying. Would a reader find this mysterious, or misguided as a reader? The reader does know that she's led an eventful life, but isn't filled in on her past yet. It's later revealed that she has terminal cancer, and has been trying to hide it. Only to have it manifest elsewhere (the painting, and attempts for material happiness). The manuscript won't touch again on why she's emotional for a few chapters after that. What do you think? Mysterious, or have a led the reader the wrong way in an annoying manner?

What should I use this piece of fabric for? I bought a really pretty piece of fabric (a yard) with autumn color leaves on a cream background, and their names in a deep red script behind them. I can either use it to make covers for the pillows on my couch or put it in a large frame I have above my dining table (Yes, I do frame pretty fabric. Cheap "art" I can afford to change often lol). Harland Young picture? My grandparents kept a picture of a farm scene above their fireplace.. I have had this in my house for over 12 years. Recently I was moving it to a new location and accidently put a whole in it. Behind it i could see brushstrokes.. so out of being curious.. i took it down and began to investigate. The outer picture was a farm picture out of a 1972 childcraft world book encyclopedia it was carefully placed around a picture of autumn trees with a cabin in the background and a stream running beside the tree line. in the lower left corner it has the signature of Harland Young?? can anyone help me out here.. i know this picture has been covered for at least 35 years. Can anyone help me with the Japanese Autumnal equinox? So, I need help with writing a five sentence paragraph in japanese about it. I have all the facts, but I'm not sure how to do it in Japanese. The lil essay that I wrote about it in English is The Autumnal Equinox, or Higan No Chu-Nichi in japanese. The Higan is the period of time around autumn and spring, there's a saying that expresses this time, "Both the heat and cold end with Higan." The Autumnal Equinox is on September 23 or 24, on this day, they pay their respects to their parents, grandparents, and other family members who have passed away. They celebrate the Higan also to state the changing of seasons, from Autumn to Spring. The Autumnal Equinox actually has two backgrounds. One being the celebration of when the seasons change, a typical celebration of an agricultural society. This is the day when the night time hours and the day-time hours are equal. The other background is a religious one, the religion is buddhism. They visit their deceased family, just like I stated above. They weed their family tombs and leave flowers, sweet rice balls covered with soybean paste, and incense. It is tradition that they bring round food because the family members prefer round foods over any other. On this day, they don't exactly eat anything specific. Do I please family or myself when choosing wedding date? Background info: My sister and her family lives in Japan and can only visit for long extended stays during the summers (she's a teacher). My fiance and I LOVE autumn in Chicago...want a wedding October 4th, 2008. As you can see....that's not a summer month. So the chances that my one and only sister (who I'd love to make a bridesmaid) and my lil nephew (my ringbearer) are very slim. Both parents continue to say "Why can't you have your wedding in the summer?" Summers in Chicago are comparable to hell....high humidity, lots of tourists, and so many weddings to compete with. My sister said she has a long weekend on October 4th....so she could possibly fly in Thursday and then leave on that Sunday (but coming from Japan...that's no easy feat). Myspace layout with multiple pictures(avatars)? How do you make a layout for myspace that uses more than one picture in the background. Winter Wedding Ideas? I've always invisioned an Autumn wedding, but I've really been getting into the Winter themes. The two retailer web sites I am going to evaluate are The Body Shop website (TBS) and The Bath and Body Work website (BBW). As a consumer, I realize TBS is more successful, because of its pleasing visual appeal, smooth easy access, and understandable information. TBS has better visual appeal than BBW web. Visual appeal is the setting of pictures, color tones and graphic presentations which always give us the first impression. A web design expert, Tom Dahm states, “Color is also important for emphasizing the most important parts of our page. Remember that the purpose of Web design is to draw the visitor's eye to key page elements.” (2001). TBS keep using green consistently to highlight its natural ingredients, so the basic colors of website are green, white and black. On the homepage, it presents the products in front of the leaves with the black background. The clear background colors are not only for emphasizing TBS’s natural idea but also for highlighting of the soft color of its skin product’s image. TBS impacts visitors to have a positive impression about its natural products by using leaves in the background to make a color contrast with its products’ surface tone. In addition, there is a big rectangular picture in the middle of the website and three small rectangular pictures on its bottom. For all pictures, it shows the products on the left and descriptions on the right. Using this simple design can help the consumer to discover the products and the promotion at same time. The heading also defines the important promotion explicitly, and makes consumer easily to get into the sale event. In contrast, BBW is using a light brown color in autumn. Is 2.63 gpa a bad gpa taking hard classes? I have a 2.63 gpa for my freshman year of college at University of Washington. Ended autumn quarter with a 2.9. Took CSE 142 and Physics 121 and English 131. Got a 0.7 in CSE 142 partly because I really didn't udnerstand it.Got a 1.9 in physics 121 due to it partially being calc based physics and I had no physics background before. Ended with a 3.5 in english comp. Then Spring Quarter retook i retook CSE 142 and got a 2.6 (The midterm and final i got class average but missed like 3 pts total on my hwk). Took physics 122 and got a 2.4. Took Ess 101 and got a 3.5. Now i have a cum gpa of 2.63 and I was just wondering...are those grades terrible? Going into sophmore year this september kind of worried. I put in the effort to learn but the results are just terrible. It was so easy to get As back in Highschool. Even when I study my butt off in college, my grades don't seem to reflect my effort. Am I going to be ok? I had a terrible time freshman year, partly due to too much free time and not knowing how to study or manage time. But when they choose who to accept in majors, they look at the difficulties of the class right? I mean everyone tells me its just freshman year. They say to just try adjusting your studying method. honestly if you're going to write "will any body bother reading this" you sure are a helpful person in real life. I'm here to get some help not to be criticized oh i got a physics 121 1.9 on my first try im retaking it fall quarter. Retaking CSE 142 i got a 2.6 which a B on the UW grading system. Marriage Blessing - what do you think? Background: My husband and I were married 'our' way in a very non-religious ceremony with no reception afterward, no big white dress, no flowers etc in April. Since a lot of our family are Christian and would like to see us get married in a church and have the 'big white wedding' we were considering doing a marriage blessing at our family church next autumn and doing it up with the white dress, bridesmaids, reception, buffet, disco etc. The whole shebang that we would have liked to have the first time around. What do you think? PS. We didn't spend a lot on our civil ceremony, only £200 so we have money for the marriage blessing.

Consolidate student loans, Astrive problems, best private loans? My husband and I took out Astrive loans in Autumn of 2007 to help pay for school (when we were just starting out and had no credit yet). They each had a mediocre rate, and we deferred payments until January 2010 (6 months after our expected graduation). For awhile, we were receiving letters upon letters regarding the status of our student loans (from AES), however we have ceased to receive them as of last summer. I wasn't worried really, I knew when I had to pay back my loan, what the rate was, etc. Now, however, we have both decided to extend our educations to obtain more advanced degrees. I decided the best option would be to take out a new student loan (with a lower rate, now that I have built my credit up strong) to pay off both of our Astrive loans and help pay for the additional costs of our extended education. I figure it is best to consolidate everything into one student loan and defer payments until January, 2011 (six months after my new graduation date). I was surprised when I went to the Astrive website however, to find that they no longer offer student loans due to the current economic crisis, and most of the links on their website are broken. I can not seem to access our Astrive accounts to make modifications or view loan info. Does anyone know how to do this? Also, I'm looking for recommendations regarding a new private student loan to pay off the costs of our old loans and additional education expenses. Who has the lowest rates? Deferment, etc? All advice is appreciated. Some background info: Currently have 11,000 in student loans, expect I will need an additional 10,000 in loans summing to a total of a 21,000 loan I am looking for. My heart didn’t need the mends. Art I loved and did it well. People thought many were worth to sell. Next thing came like a dozen red roses. Sweet and bliss. He cam to art class and was pretty good. Sharp Chest Pains? Trouble Breathing? Head Aches? Hi, thanks for answering in advance :) I am a 17 year old female, who is having bad chest pains, head aches, and having a pretty hard time breathing. I'll give a little background about my living condision and such; I live with my mom, she is a smoker; but she smokes in her room or out side, i'm never directly near it. I don't drink, smoke, or do drugs at all. I was diagnosed with Severe Depression and Stress Anxiety about six months ago and was put on Lithium but I never took it. I like to deal with the "stress" on my own. Anyway, so then I was also prescribed an enhailer Albuteral to open up my lungs when I get a anxiety attack. I rarely have to use it. So two days ago, at around 11 am, at school I started having a massive headache. The kind of headache around my eyes, I was sensitive to the noise not light. Then around, 1:30-2 pm I started feeling faint, my teacher said she was feeling kinda faint too, but my head was on my desk ready to pass out. I've never felt like this before, so I asked her to go out side and I went out. I was feeling little nasueaous, but not to the point where it bothered me. I was starting to get extreamly tired, but I was able to stay awake. Then 10 minutes later I was feeling weak. So I got home at around 3:00 pm and the chest pains were starting to go on, I assumed it was my anxiety or something like that. I also assumed it could be allergies, but it's raining (I live in Washington) so I doubt that could be it, especially in Autumn. I usally go to bed at around 11, but I went to be at 9 that night. Which is a huge change to me, I don't get that much sleep either. Then yesterday I woke up and couldn't breathe again, worse than the day before. I had sharp pains in my upper chest, and towards night time I had one really sharp pain below my breasts, like in between my belly button and the ending of my breasts. (What to call that i don't know lol) and I got this pain as soon as I breathed in. In total, yesterday I had to use my enhailer 5 times (two puffs each) and it only worked for a short period of time. So anyway, this is the third day and i'm getting a tad bit better. I still feel weak, unmodivated, and very tired. I now feel a little pressure in my chest, but not sharp pains anymore. I'm afraid tonight it's going to come back again. What could this be? Please no "CALL 911 RIGHT NOW" because it's not a emergancy. My Grandparents will be home this weekend and if I must go to the doctor I will. I have no bad heart condicions in my family history. My Grandma had me checked for high cholestoral and it was normal. I'm not feeling stressed at all, can anyone help me? My Grandma also has Asthma, but no one else in my family does. I doubt it's asthma but it's possible that could be part of it.

ideas to do instead of dancing? we are having an outdoor, autumn theme wedding and its in the country the ceremony is at 1:00 and we arent people who dance but we will be having music playing softly in the background, the wedding will have abround 75 close friends and family and none of them really dance either, also its trick a treating will going on that night at 6p.m and we are getting a trailer ready and gonna take the kids and the guest trick a treating but i need some activities to do from 2:30 to 5, i have a set of horseshoes up but any other ideas we could do to make it enjoyable? millz, i know my guest and they dont dance, and if you didnt have any ideas, please dont answer and be rude!!

Experienced Pagans: Help!? I have been skeptical about my spirituality for several years now and I discovered wicca last autumn through my aunt's brother-in-law. I am curious about it and I want to learn more about this path. But there are so many books on the subject and so many writers who claim to know everything, but write for people who think wicca is some stupid high school fad. I want real, reliable information because I am serious about studying this, but I am so overwhelmed! I have been looking at some books in Barnes and Noble and a few other bookstores, but most sort of just teach you how to jump right in and start casting circles and doing candle magic with no real background. I want to know the history and beliefs, something that will give me a solid foundation, but I can't find any! I'm serious about finding my own spiritual path. I would ask my aunt's brother-in-law, but he lives in Canada (I live in the US) and I'm not that familiar with my aunt (she is my uncle's second wife and they've only been married for about two years). Can someone who really knows what they're doing please suggest some good reading material and give me some advice?

Woodland invertebrates? Can anyone help me with the following questions? (They are for some background research and I can't find the information on the internet). What is the expected detritivore and/or invertebrate population in British woodland? How does detrivore/invertebrate population change with the seasons? (I thought it would be more in autumn because of more leaf litter? But then what if it's a coniferous wood?) How does inverterbrate population change with maturity of woodland? What are the actual effects of fewer detritivrores? (I have that there would be less decomposition as detritivores break down organic matter to make this easier but apparently this isn't enough.) Haha. This is a last resort trust me. Do you really think I'd rather get my research of Yahoo Answers than a reputable website or book? Like I said, I can't find the answers to these questions online (and I can't go to a libary!). This is a tiny fraction of the research I've had to do for this work - the rest I have been able to find. It is the numbers I can't find online. The expected population of invertebrates in British woodland, the expected change in population size if the woodland is a monoculture nd/or an exotic species etc. I have general trends but not numbers!
