music help. am confused. pls hurry up and save me. thanx in advance?

i have been told to learn to play the background music for about 12 songs for an upcoming concert.i have been told 2 prepare by tommorow. somebody will sing the songs and i will play the background music on the keyboard. some of the songs include: the summer of 69, autumn leaves, jailhouse rock, fernando, ma baker- bonny M, my heart will go on, etc. now, my problem is that i cant hear the background music clearly and i cant take out the tune on the keyboard. is there any way 2 hear the background music only and not the singers voice. i am confused. wat do u think about midi files. if i am not prepared by tommorrow then sum1 else will perform instead. pls hurry up n answer my question. thanx.

1. Try a site called echords.com for guitar tabs or piano chords. Some songs have midi files you can listen to.
2. Try Karaoke CDs. Listen to the music with headphones on...it will surround you, then you may be able to make out the background music.
